15km is a common distance for running races here in The Netherlands. It is not so common back home in the UK. This fact has led to me becoming the fastest UK athlete this year over 15km. Today, I ran the Zevenheuvelenloop on Sunday (21st November 2010), finishing in the top-10 amongst a top-class international field. I ran the 15km course in a personal best time of 55.07. Strangely, this means that I am number 1 in the UK rankings for 15km in 2010, and the 25th fastest recorded run of all time for a 15km by a UK athlete. The race was the 27th time the Zevenheuvelenloop has been held in Nijmegen, Holland. Zevenheuvelenloop is Dutch for Seven (zeven) Hills (heuvelen) Run (loop). Senior Women Results:
